How long does tyre fitting take?+
Most tyre fittings take 15–30 minutes per tyre, including balancing. If we have your size in stock you can usually wait while we fit them. For four tyres allow around an hour.
How much do new tyres cost in Edgware?+
Budget tyres start from around £45 fitted, mid-range from around £70, and premium brands like Michelin, Pirelli, Continental and Bridgestone vary by size. Call 020 8952 6551 with your tyre size (e.g. 205/55 R16) for an exact quote.
Do you fit part-worn tyres?+
Yes. We sell quality-checked part-worn tyres that meet UK legal standards. They're a cheaper short-term option, but for long-term value and safety we usually recommend a new budget tyre.
Can a puncture be repaired or do I need a new tyre?+
Punctures in the central tread area, smaller than 6mm, can normally be repaired to BSAU 159 standard. Sidewall damage, runs while flat or punctures near the shoulder mean the tyre has to be replaced for safety.
How much is a puncture repair?+
Puncture repairs start from £20 including re-balancing. Bring the car in — we'll inspect the tyre first and only repair if it's safe to do so.
What is the UK legal minimum tread depth?+
The legal minimum is 1.6mm across the central three-quarters of the tyre, all the way around. We recommend replacing tyres at 3mm for better wet grip and shorter stopping distances.
