1. About us
These terms apply to all sales, services, bookings and quotes provided by Star Auto Tyres, trading from 25 Park Way, Burnt Oak, Edgware, London, HA8 5EY, United Kingdom. By using our website or buying from us you agree to these terms.
2. Quotes and pricing
Quotes are based on the information you provide and are valid for 7 days unless stated otherwise. Prices include VAT where applicable. We reserve the right to amend a quote if the vehicle, tyre size or fitment requirements differ on inspection.
3. Bookings and appointments
Bookings are confirmed once we have acknowledged them by phone, email or in person. Please arrive on time; late arrivals may need to be rebooked. If you need to cancel or reschedule, please give us as much notice as possible.
4. New tyres
New tyres are supplied with the manufacturer's warranty. Any warranty claim is handled in line with the manufacturer's process. Tyres damaged by impact, misuse, under- or over-inflation, or incorrect alignment are not covered.
5. Part-worn tyres
All part-worn tyres are inspected, marked and sold in accordance with UK regulations (Motor Vehicle Tyres (Safety) Regulations 1994). Part-worn tyres are sold as used goods; remaining tread life will vary and is not guaranteed for any specific mileage.
6. Fitting, balancing and alignment
We carry out fitting, balancing, alignment and puncture repairs to professional standards. You are responsible for ensuring that the wheels, hubs, studs and TPMS sensors on your vehicle are in a serviceable condition. We will inform you if we find issues that prevent safe fitting.
7. Payment
Payment is due in full on completion of work, unless agreed otherwise. We accept cash and major debit/credit cards. Goods remain our property until paid for in full.
8. Liability
We are responsible for losses that are a foreseeable result of our breaking these terms or failing to use reasonable care and skill. We are not liable for losses that are not foreseeable, for business losses, or for damage arising from pre-existing faults on your vehicle. Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence or for any other liability that cannot be limited by law.
9. Your consumer rights
Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015. Goods must be of satisfactory quality, fit for purpose and as described; services must be carried out with reasonable care and skill.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales and any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
